Staunchify was born from a simple, stubborn belief: every pet deserves great care, and no loving pet parent should ever have to choose between their savings and their best friend's health.
Why we built Staunchify
Like so many pet parents, we struggled to find trustworthy pet care at a fair price. Good, reliable help was either hard to find or priced out of reach for everyday families. We knew there had to be a better way.
Staunchify starts as a community first - a place where pet parents help other pet parents with dog boarding, dog walking, grooming, pet sitting and pet taxi. To get this community growing, enrolment for these services is free at this stage.
For Yuru - and every pet like him
Staunchify is dedicated to Yuru. He isn't just a pet to me - Yuru is my son. This platform is built in his name and, in a very real way, it's his. He's the reason Staunchify exists, and I'm simply here to help him run it.
Everything we build, we build so that Yuru - and every dog, cat and living being like him - gets the loving, dependable care they deserve.
Care that puts the pet first
Our vision goes further than sitting and walking. We are bringing caring veterinary professionals onto Staunchify - vets who treat based on the value of your pet's life, not the size of your wallet.
We've seen too many clinics, here in Victoria and beyond, where the bill seems to come before the patient. Sometimes a pet simply can't be properly diagnosed - and that is never the pet's fault. It comes down to the experience and the care made available to them.
Our bigger dream
Our long-term goal is to help create genuinely pet-first care in Australia - one day, an arrangement much like a public hospital for animals, where money is secondary and saving a beloved companion comes first. Whether it's a dog, a cat, or any living being, they deserve a real fighting chance.
